Real Walking!!

Well Hadley started really walking today. She has been taking a couple of steps recently, but only 2 or 3 and even then it was half falling. Now she can really walk!

Happy Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day!!
This isn't really a big deal in our house or anything, but it is a good excuse to get more kisses from the cutest 1-year-old you've ever seen.

We do have a valentines shirt for Hadley.
In case you can't read it, it says "My heart belongs to Daddy".
Hadley got a valentines from Mamaw and Papaw!

More Free Stuff

Ok, here's this week's deals.
CVS: 5 for $5 on wheat thins and ritz. I have a $2 off 2 coupon (5 of them) so I got 10 boxes of wheat thins for FREE. And then some how at the end they owed me money, so I threw a chapstick up there and got that for free too!
Walgreens: Gillete Fusion razor. $8.99 and you get $6 back in Register Reward bucks (to be used as cash on your next transaction) plus I had a $4 off coupon. So, I paid $4.99 right then, but I have $6 to be used on my next transaction. So I made money off that deal in the end because whenever I go to Walgreens again I can use my $6....even towards a perscription.

Not Free, but still good:
Target had Pop Tarts on sale for 1.69 and I had Target Store coupons for $1 off 2 and a Manufacturers coupon for $1 off 2 that I combined. So I got 10 boxes of pop tarts for .69 cents each.
Also at Target I had $1 off a 12 pack of pepsi target coupon and a .55 off manufacturer coupon to combine, so I got a 12 pack for ust over 1.50!!! So exciting...but I don't have any pictures of those things cuz they weren't free. Yeah!

Diaper Swappers Get Together

As most of you know, we use cloth diapers at this house. We love it! It saves money, is better for the environment, better for our babies bottoms, and CUTE! I'm also a member of an international mom forum called Diaper Swappers so that I can talk to other people who are kinda granola like me. Well, today was the local Diaper Swappers get together. We met at the Castleton mall and hung out while the kids played. There were only 5 of us, but it was still fun to see people in real life that I'd talked to online for quite a while. While I don't have any pictures of our get together, I do have a pic of Hadley's latest wound. People are going to think I beat the child senseless! This is our third bruise this week, but at least the other 2 are faded and can't really be seen anymore. She was playing while I was talking to the other moms, and then bam! she starts screaming. A few kisses made it better, but check out her poor eye.

Hopefully it will go away soon. And luckily we don't have any pictures scheduled for the next week or we'd have to reschedule. I'm going to Target/CVS/Walgreens/Meijer after nap time to get some deals, so I'll be back later to tell you all about it!

3D glasses

Bryan and I really like the TV show Chuck on Monday nights. So, this last week they had a super bowl promotion that went along with the show and it was all in 3D. This was just really funny, so I had to share. Here's Bryan watching Chuck in his super awesome 3D glasses. Enjoy!! Hehe!

John and Kate plus 8 !

Here we are at the Indianapolis Home Show yesterday. Bryan and I went with our friend Lindsay and got to see Kate Gosselin from our favorite TV show! We were so excited!

At first we were very disappointed. They grossly underestimated the amount of people who would be there, and therefore there wasn't enough room for everyone to see her. We went to the 3:00 show and they said people had been saving seats since 11:00 that morning. As soon as her talk was over, people were sitting down to save seats for the 7:00 pm show! We were lucky enough to be able to stand within viewing range, but we couldn't hear a thing she said. However, when I did hear bits and pieces she seemed to just be talking about what it said in the book, and I've already read all that so whatever. Then, they said she would be signing books for one hour. Well, the line was already a mile long, so we were pretty bummed and knew we had wasted our money on coming. We walked around the home show for about 20 minutes and then heard a cheer. (They said there would be a 5 minute break before she started signing books) Well, apparently there was a 20 minute break! We went over to see where the line actually began and got the shot below! We were so close yet so far. Then, we saw our friend Nicole in line! I was so jealous.

In the end, the line went really quickly and as you can see below, we were able to jump in at the end and meet Kate and get our book signed!!! I was so excited. I had been preparing what I was going to say to her, but I was all nervous anyway.

I said "Hi Kate! I coupon and stockpile just like you!" and she said "That's a great way to save money!" and then she looked up to hand us the book and looked at Hadley and said "Oh, she is beautiful!!!" I was thrilled and ran off to share my joy with our friends Lindsay and Nicole who were also giddy! It was such a fun day and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to see her!
